Newton joined CONCERT in 2009. Prior to joining CONCERT, he was a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch and UBS. He specializes in multi-asset portfolios with the goal of maximum real returns. He uses a value approach to buy assets when they are priced low and to sell when assets have increased in value, a strategy that takes a contrarian and patient approach. Newton earned a B.A. in History from Washington and Lee University, and an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, University of Virginia. He enjoys helping his clients get the most out of life and to sleep better at night. He is married to wife Melissa and has one daughter. Newton is active in his community as a Lacrosse and soccer coach, and as a volunteer with the Concours d’Elegance, the US Open, and the Kiwanis. His hobbies are skiing, tennis, and lacrosse.
