Q?
How does a CONCERT Financial Advisor work with a client?

Our advisors use a six-step process to help clients develop a solid financial plan and peace of mind:

1. Identify and Prioritize Goals and Objectives - We begin by having a detailed discussion with our clients that helps us fully understand their financial goals and priorities. We then determine the client’s risk comfort level and take the first steps towards creating a financial plan.

2. Gather Data - We carefully review a client’s financial history including investment account statements, estate planning documents, insurance polices and tax returns to get a complete picture of the client’s current financial situation and to identify all planning opportunities.

3.  Analyze and Evaluate Alternatives - We identify financial options that specifically meet the client’s goals and objectives. We review investment options extensively  to find the most appropriate financial   products  and  services for each client.

4.  Make Recommendations - We explain and discuss recommended strategies with our clients to make their financial situation and goals manageable. We then collaboratively develop a written financial plan with them and confirm that the required steps are achievable.

5.  Implement the Plan - We execute the investment plan, including direct management of portfolio trades, using independent  third-party custodians. (Note: We never have personal access to client  funds.) We also make referrals to qualified professionals in specialized fields such as law, accounting and trust administration when appropriate.

6.  Monitor and Review - We continually monitor investments in our clients' portfolio and rebalance as necessary. We identify new opportunities that may result from changes in tax laws or financial  markets, and we use state-of-the-art planning tools to help maximize returns and manage risk. We review all portfolios quarterly and encourage clients to meet with us at least annually.
