Before being recruited to CONCERT, James was First Vice President, 144 Specialist, and EFS Director for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in Irvine, California. He specializes in portfolio construction, stock loans and providing covered write income for United Parcel Service employees and Fortune 500 firm executives. With CONCERT’s unique platform, the major financial institutions come to him to compete for the lowest rates on stock loans (hypothecation loans). By borrowing direct from the financial institutions and by giving up my commissions on loans, his team provides, in his opinion, the most competitive Hypo loan in the marketplace. For UPS’ers, he carries both A and B shares and can offer a 70% LTV (Loan To Value ratio) using LIBOR or Fed Funds pricing from multiple institutions. His Hypo loan rates are even offered on UPS class B shares and other major Fortune 500 stocks without the mark up. The advantage: the client no longer has to search for the lowest hypothecation rate. James studied Global Enterprise Management at Oxford University, UK. He earned an MBA in Business Management/Finance from Pepperdine University. James has also completed coursework in business management at the University of Arizona. After earning his MBA in 1998, James joined Merrill Lynch.
